Presets Print Styles

What does our print design look like? Which elements and objects are omitted, which are output and what, if anything, changes?

By default, all content is also output in the print view. However, some elements do not offer any added value in a print view and are omitted or must be output in modified form to optimise the print result. This concerns the following elements:

Notes on layouts and functions

Page layout default: The selected layout for column use (small/large/full) should have no effect on the print layout. The full width of the page is used for all but marginal type pages. Elements that protrude from the text block (e.g. info box) are pushed into the text block for printing. 

Page layout Related: Related area with automatically added recommendations for further reading is not printed.

Page Layout Marginal: In contrast to the standard, the marginal column is printed next to the text in the printout as in the desktop view.

Pageoverlay: Print only overlay when printing from active state.

Cookienote: Print page with cookienote when printing from active state.
